I have recently purchased 5 books from the Gold Cockerel Books series and have found them all very helpfull.
For some time now I have been trying to find a cure for scally mite with little effect, then I read that you should not use roof felt on your hen house for water proofing as the mites love it. Since stripping and cleaning the whole house and treating the infected hens the problem has now gone.
